CELFLEX is a rubber insulation with quality ideal for insulating refrigerant tubes of Home Air-Conditioning systems, especially in Hot and Humid Climate. CELFLEX has been tested and proven more superior than some other types of insulations available in the market. CELFLEX also has the following characteristics:

SPECIFICATIONS


CELFLEX is the most ideal Thermal Insulation for indoor and outdoor tubings. CELFLEX prevents heat gain by refrigerant copper tubes of Air-Conditioners, especially in hot and humid region like tropical countries. From the test result below, you can see many advantages of CELFLEX, compared with other Rubber and Plastic Insulations.


Flammability Test. Tested by Lighter fr 15 seconds. CELFLEX is self-extinguishing while other brands continue flamming.

Flammability and Melting

CELFLEX is self-extinguishing and doesn not melt when in contact with flame or heat, unlike other types of insulation which does not contain any flame retarding chemicals; or are made of plastic materials (Polyethylene Foam) that may be melted by heat. Flamming and melting are harmful to Aircon Installers, Residents, and their properties.

Flexibility

CELFLEX produced from selected synthetic rubber has outstanding flexibility, so it can be easily installed to complicated, bent tubes without collapsing like plastics or their types of insulations.

Thermal Conductivity (K. Value)

CELFLEX has very low Thermal Conductivity with an ideal density of approximately 4 LBS/Ft3 unlike Plastic (approx. 2 LBS/Ft3) and other Rubber Insulations (approx. 10 LBS/Ft3). Insulation with high K Value increases unnecessary electricity consumption and forces the compressors to work restlessly; thus shortening the lifespan of the compressors. High K value insulation has more possibilities of condensation problems.


Too high or too low density means High K value (Thermal Conductivity). High K value forces compressor to wor restlessly, wastes electricity and also causes condensation problems.

Good Ozone and Weathering Resistance

CELFLEX, made from selected-Synthetic Rubber, has excellent resistance against Ultra-Violet, Ozone, Humidity and all kinds of Weather, especially Hot and Humid climate like tropical areas. The pictures below shows the test result of other insulations surface not only lower their Thermal Conductivity but also other values/properties. Worst of all, cracks allows water to seep into the insulation and creates fungus on its surface.

Some brands of insulation contains impure chemical that can cause corrosion and create pin holes on Copper Tubes resulting in leakage of Refrigent Gas. This is troublesome to the Residents and Aircon Installers.

Actual exposure test to sunlight, rain and other weather, CELFLEX proves it is more superior in weather resistance than other low quality Rubber, Plastic, PE and PP Foam insulations, whose surface cracks or become sublime skinless causing them to lose their insulation value very rapidly.
